This capstone course is a self-directed project-based course. It is designed for teachers to collaborate with other teachers, either in their grade level teams or across grade levels, in order to incorporate technology innovations into the curriculum.
The project is an accumulation of all courses taken throughout the University of Maryland University College Master of Education (M.E.d) program. The capstone course provides opportunities for teachers to take what they have learned and apply that knowledge to real-world situations. The main project for this course is creating an electronic portfolio. This is my version of an electronic portfolio showcasing all I have learned throughout my master's degree. |
Here is a description of each of the phases of this capstone project:
Phase 1: Identifying an Educational Problem and a Proposed Solution Phase 2: Creating Objectives and Assessment Materials Phase 3a: Developing an Implementation Plan Phase 3b: Preparing the Environment Phase 4: Implementation of Solution Phase 5: Documenting Project Outcomes and Recommending Revisions |
